Meet Our Doctors
Dr. N. Ramsey
Dr. Ramsey attended the University of Alberta, Faculty of Science majoring in Biological Sciences. In 2012 he obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in Texas. Dr. Ramsey completed his first clinical externship at Gimbel Eye Center in Edmonton, focusing on the medical and surgical management of pre and postoperative care of cataract and refractive surgery. His second clinical rotation took place in South Texas with Sharp Eye Consultants specializing in ocular pathology of geriatric patients, focusing on diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy. After completing his Doctorate of Optometry, Dr. Ramsey returned to Alberta to continue his exciting career as an Optometrist. In his free time, Dr. Ramsey enjoys travelling, spending time with his wife and children.
Dr. D. Osman
Dr. Osman attended the University of Alberta before attaining his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015 at the Western University of Health Sciences in California. Dr. Osman’s externships took place at various practices around the United States and Canada, where he had exposure to pediatrics, specialty contact lenses, geriatrics and ophthalmology co-management. After graduating, he returned to Edmonton, his hometown, where he has been practicing since. Dr. Osman places an emphasis on patient education and ensures that no patient leaves their exam with unanswered questions. Away from the office, Dr. Osman devotes his free time to his loving wife and two young children. He also enjoys time spent at the gym or in front of the piano.
Dr. K. Kassian
Dr. Kassian graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Florida. He then returned to Alberta and has been practicing here ever since. He has experience in many fields including Primary Care, Pediatric and Binocular Vision, Contact Lenses, Pre and Post-op Surgeries and has a keen interest in Ocular Disease Management. He is passionate about providing each patient with a unique/tailored experience. He enjoys playing and watching hockey, skiing in the mountains and being with his family.
Meet Our Clinical Staff
Laura
Laura is our office manager and has been with Westland Eye care for several years. Starting as an Optometric Assistant and now Manager, Laura has the knowledge and ability to assist with all of your eye care needs. Laura has a fascination for learning and loves to share her passion/knowledge with her colleagues. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Allison
Allison was born and raised in Spruce Grove and is one of our Optometric Assistants/ Receptionists. When not at the office, you can find Allison at the hockey rink or dance studio cheering on her two children.
Jeovalyn
We are pleased to have Jeovalyn as one of our Optometric assistants. Having completed her Medical office assistant certificate, Jeovalyn works closely alongside our Doctors, pretesting, sending off referrals, performing visual fields and taking any needed diagnostic imaging. When not at work, you will find Jeovalyn spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
Bailie
Bailey has completed her Medical Office Assistant certificate and is our Receptionist and optometric assistant. Bailey is able to assist you with direct billing, booking appointments and pretesting. Bailey has a passion for providing quality eye care service and in her free time enjoys spending time with her children.
Arlene
Arlene is one of our Optometric Assistants/Receptionists. Arlene will assist with booking appointments, check in and processing insurance. As one of our Optometric Assistants, Arlene is also to perform all pretesting duties, take any needed diagnostic imaging and assist with contact lens fitting and training. When not in the office, Arlene enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

We have a full range of diagnostic equipment, such as an OCT and OPTOS for diagnostic imaging, iCare and NCT and a Humphreis Visual Field machine to accommodate all of your eye care needs.
